Bread And Other Baked Goods
Flavors & Inspiration

Pain de Campagne translates to "country bread" and is an ideal artisan loaf with a moderately open crumb and that wonderful crusty crust. Perfect for sandwiches, snacking, charcuterie, croutons and more!
Flavors of Pain de Campagne that I have baked so far:

Jalapeno Cheddar - a staple and makes the best grilled cheese!

Herbs & Cheese - full of Italian herbs and 3 different cheeses...garlic bread anyone?

Pizza - a specialty pizza cheese and a blend of pizza seasoning

Super Seeds - hearty bread mixed with a homemade mix of seeds and grains

Caramelized Onion - caramelized onions made with thyme, butter and brown sugar

French Onion - caramelized onion mixture with the added bonus of Swiss cheese

Dill Pickle - dill pickle seasoning, chopped dill pickles, caraway seeds

Smoked Salsa - smoked homegrown tomatoes, smoked poblanos, roasted garlic, spices

Have your own flavor combo you want to try? Let me know and I will do my best to make it happen!

Other Breads:
Sourdough Sandwich Loaves - a different texture/crumb than the Pain de Campagne, softer and may be enriched (milk/butter added) or not

Honey & Stout Mini Boules - made with sourdough culture and an artisan stout/ale with an accent of honey; great for charcuterie boards, soup bowls, or a salty meat sandwich!

Yeasted Sandwich Loaves - whether its just plain white, honey oat, seeds, or sweet and swirled, these are classics and I love baking these for my Porch Pickup as they are usually same-day bakes

Bagels - plain, everything, roasted garlic, jalapeno cheddar, cheese

Pretzel Buns - either hamburger or roll-style - perfect for sausage & peppers, pub burgers, and sandwiches

Cinnamon Rolls (or other flavored buns) - usually served with frosting on the side so they can be conveniently re-heated
Dinner Rolls - where my love for homemade bread came from! I have done full pans of regular butter rolls and whole wheat. These are soft and fluffy and can be easily frozen and reheated for future use.
Pao de Queijo - Brazilian cheese breads made with tapioca flour; I fell in love with these during a special trip where I met so many wonderful people from Brazil. Needless to say I fell in love and made these for a local Hispanic Festival! They were a hit!

Challah & Brioche - I am currently practicing making Brioche and learning to work with these super enriched doughs!

Babka - buttery and rich bread dough gets swirled with a mixture of chocolate, spices and with or without nuts.

Quick Breads - pumpkin, zucchini, and banana breads are always a great way I can do some same-day baking and use up excess from my garden!
Flatbreads and Tortillas - I regularly make corn and flour tortillas as well as flatbreads such as pita! There is really no comparison to store-bought!

Other Baked Goods
Scones - fruit such as blueberry, raspberry or apple, sweet or savory

Muffins - fruit, nuts, seeds, or plain

Cakesicles - chocolate, vanilla, or your choice of cake-inside dipped in chocolate candy coating and decorated

Cookies and Cakes - for markets I love to make cookies or cakes to utilize flavors of the season!
